I absolutely loved In Five Years—it's easily one of the best books I've ever read. I thought I knew what to expect, but each chapter surprised me in the best way possible. It's not often that a book makes me cry, but this one did.
What I really appreciated was that there wasn't a clear bad guy in the story. The characters were flawed, sure, but you could understand where they were coming from. They felt real, which made it easy to connect with them.
Some parts of the story were predictable, but there was one twist that caught me completely off guard. It changed everything and kept me hooked until the end. I went into this book not knowing much about it, and I was blown away. I can't wait to read more from this author—she's definitely gained a fan in me.
