The Dinner Guests by Kiersten Modglin
Rating: ★★★☆☆
Dates Read: 6/24/24 - 6/26/24
When a group of friends is invited to their reclusive neighbor's dinner party, they expect a fun evening. Instead, they find themselves trapped in a calculated game with cryptic messages and chilling revelations. As they try to escape, friendships fray, loyalties are tested, and their secrets come to light. This book was okay. You have to suspend disbelief at some points, but it was still interesting and moved at a nice pace. It felt like a made-for-TV movie with lots of drama and mystery as secrets came out. I listened to the audiobook and thought the narrators were great. It was a fun listen, and I'm looking forward to reading more from Modglin.
