Playing Jenna by Kiersten Modglin
Rating: ★★★☆☆
Dates Read: 7/8/24 - 7/8/24
The book shifts a lot between Monroe’s memories and places, making the second half a bit confusing. I was more interested in how things happened rather than why. The narrator is unreliable, which means you’re constantly learning things that turn out to be wrong. By the end, there are so many characters, many with different names, that it’s hard to keep track of who’s who. Overall, it was intriguing but a bit hard to follow.
