Into the Water by Paula Hawkins

Rating: ★★★★☆

Dates Read: 1/3/25 - 1/8/25

A single mother and a teenage girl are found dead in a river, their deaths bringing long-buried secrets to the surface. Left behind, a fifteen-year-old girl is sent to live with her aunt, who has returned to the town she swore never to return to. Together, they must face the dark history that haunts them.

I couldn’t put this book down, the mystery of Nel’s death and the secrets between her and her sister Jules were so gripping. The ending was good but fell a bit flat compared to the rest of the story. It was also hard to keep track of all the characters, but overall, I really enjoyed it.
