Lila Ridgefield’s husband, Aaron, goes missing after a student vanishes in their small college town. This is the third unexplained disappearance in recent years, and the police are desperate for answers. Lila is confused, but only because she was the last to see Aaron’s body, and now it’s gone. As the town searches for answers, Lila knows more than she’s letting on.
This was okay. It held my interest but overall, it just wasn't insanely memorable. I did really enjoy the relationship between Lila and Ginny. I would be open to reading more from Kane, but this was just not for me.
