The Lake of Lost Girls by Katherine Greene

Rating: ★★★★☆

Dates Read: 12/23/24 - 12/31/24

In 1998, freshman Jessica Fadley disappears from Southern State University amid a string of missing women. Twenty-four years later, her sister, Lindsey, uses a true crime podcast to help investigate the case. As bodies are found and secrets unravel, Lindsey uncovers shocking truths, while Jessica’s past descent into darkness leads to a devastating discovery.

This was the first book from Greene that I've read, and I am eager to read more. The dual timelines and the podcast element made the audiobook so much fun to listen to. I did have an idea of part of the twist, but not the whole thing. This book is just so gripping, I highly recommend it.
