The One Who Got Away with Murder by Trish Lundy

Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3.75/5)

Dates Read: 8/2/24 - 8/5/24

Robbie and Trevor Cresmont are rich, charming—and suspected killers. Their ex-girlfriends keep turning up dead, but their wealth shields them from blame.

New girl Lauren O’Brian isn’t looking for trouble, but a fling with Robbie pulls her in too deep. When she stumbles on evidence that could expose him, another girl dies. Now, Lauren must choose—walk away or risk becoming the next victim.

I am going to start with my only gripe about the book so we can focus on the good, I realized about halfway through what was going on and where this was going. In spite of that, this was so much fun. I had such a good time reading this. It held my interest and even when I knew where it was going, I didn't want to put it down. This was Lundy's debut novel, and I will absolutely be on the lookout for more from her. Huge thanks to Henry Holt & Co for sending me a copy of this in advance, even though my review is terribly delayed. I am happy to have a copy on my shelf, and I hope anyone who reads this review and is persuaded to read it, enjoys it as well!
