    Camp Alpine Lake is Goldie Easton's safe haven in Roxwood. Though expensive and exclusive, Goldie feels at home there. As a counselor, she's eager for summer and her best friends, Ava and Imogen, to arrive for support.

    When a teen is found dead in the lake, Goldie suspects it wasn't an accident and knows Ava was there that night. As she seeks answers, Goldie uncovers secrets that threaten the trust and safety she once found at Camp Alpine Lake.

    I loved how the story used a dual timeline; it kept things interesting. However, I often felt frustrated with Goldie's actions and thoughts. Sometimes I just wanted to shake her! The mystery was pretty easy to figure out, but the summer camp setting was great. Overall, it was a fun and enjoyable read.
