The Last Mrs. Parrish by Liv Constantine

The Last Mrs. Parrish (#1)

Rating: ★★★★☆ (4.25/5)

Dates Read: 7/8/24 - 7/9/24

Amber Patterson is tired of being overlooked and envious of Daphne Parrish’s glamorous life. In the exclusive town of Bishops Harbor, Daphne and her husband, Jackson, are seen as the perfect couple. Amber devises a plan to take Daphne’s place by becoming her confidante and ingraining herself into the Parrish family. As she grows closer to the family and travels with them, a secret from her past threatens to unravel her carefully laid scheme.

I had a feeling about what might happen early in the book, but it didn’t ruin the story for me. I was still excited to see if I was right and to find out where the story would lead. Daphne’s character was especially enjoyable. The book was full of surprises that I didn’t see coming. I couldn’t put it down and really liked the pacing.
