House of Glass by Sarah Pekkanen
Rating: ★★★★☆ (4.5/5)
Dates Read: 12/3/24 - 12/5/24
When nine-year-old Rose witnesses her nanny’s fatal fall, she stops speaking. Lawyer Stella Hudson is assigned to uncover the truth, but the Barclay family’s secrets run deep. Their eerie, glassless home hides more than just a bitter divorce—everyone is a suspect. As Stella digs deeper, danger closes in. Is the child she’s protecting the one she should fear?
This hooked me from the first page, and I could not put this down. The action scenes are something I didn't expect, but loved. There is a lot going on and I was fooled a few times, which is hard to do to me. I cannot wait to read whatever Pekkanen writes next.
