Two Dead Wives by Adele Parks

DCI Clements #2

Rating: ★★★★☆

Dates Read: 8/9/24 - 8/10/24

Stacie Jones returns home for brain surgery, and her overprotective father is oddly relieved. Meanwhile, the country is shaken by the murder of Kylie Gillingham, leaving her family in turmoil. Kylie’s sons, refusing to believe she’s dead, search for her and cross paths with Stacie and her father. As their lives intertwine, they must face the painful connections that may prevent them from healing.

I had never read, or heard of, Adele Parks until I was scrolling Libby in search of a book. I am so glad that I decided to read this, because it was so much fun. There are multiple perspectives in this novel, and I think that was a fantastic decision. This was so much fun to read. Overall this was fast-paced, gripping, and I loved it. I definitely want to read the first, and the next, book in the DCI Clements series. I can't wait to read more from Parks!
