    In the close-knit town of Fairhill, where everyone knows each other and doors are left unlocked, the discovery of Diana Brewer’s body in a hayfield shatters the peace. What was once a familiar, trusting place quickly turns into a town of fear and suspicion. Someone in Fairhill is responsible, and until the truth comes out, no one is safe.

    This story keeps you guessing with red herrings that lead to unexpected places, while the ghost of Diana Brewer adds an eerie touch. With its focus on young people and adult dynamics, it has a YA feel, though the twist felt a bit obvious. Many of the adults blended together, making it hard to keep track of characters. The book is a quick read but it didn't hit the way I expected it to by the end.
