The Amendment by Kiersten Modglin

The Arrangement #2

Rating: ★★★★☆ (4.5/5)

Dates Read: 1/8/24 - 1/8/24

After their arrangement to fix their marriage took a terrible turn, Peter and Ainsley's secrets are laid bare, setting off a chain reaction of new challenges. The fallout unravels their family, exposes hidden threats, and puts someone they love in jeopardy. Battling past demons and confronting catastrophic revelations, they must rebuild trust in the face of looming danger.

Survival hinges on navigating the delicate balance between their shared secrets and the haunting specter of the past. As they strive to keep their vows, the shadows of their secrets make walking away a dangerous choice.

I can't say much about this without spoiling everything from the first book, so to sum it up, I highly recommend this series. I listened to the audiobook for The Arrangement as well as The Amendment, and I absolutely love the narrators.

Peter and Ainsley are one of the craziest couples I've ever read about, and I love it. It's like I can't look away, and Modglin manages to surprise me with at least one twist in every book I've read from her.

The Amendment, and The Arrangement series as a whole, is fast-paced, intense, and unputdownable. Modglin has quickly become an auto-read author for me, and I can't wait to make my way through her other novels after I finish this series.
