In an upscale neighborhood in upstate New York, Fred and Sheila Merton are brutally murdered after a tense Easter dinner with their three adult children. As the investigation unfolds, suspicions arise among the siblings, who could inherit millions. With a history of family tensions, everyone wonders: could one of them be the killer, or is the danger from someone else? In a family full of secrets, the truth is hard to untangle, leaving them questioning if they really know each other.
This book is a wild ride from start to finish. It moves really fast, with lots of drama that kept me hooked. Even though I kind of guessed the ending, I was so into the story that it didn't bother me.
I loved how the story was told from different perspectives, and how everything was connected. The writing style was great, like a classic mystery with lots of twists and turns.
While the big reveal might not shock everyone, the journey to get there is packed with surprises that kept me guessing until the end. Overall, I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it to others.
