Back in Grim’s castle, Isla is struggling with the aftermath of a brutal battle and shocking truths. With her heart split in two and two kingdoms on the brink of war, she must figure out the oracle’s final prophecy before it’s too late. Caught between a forbidden love and a dangerous fate, Isla fights to control her powers. But as an ancient evil rises, she faces one final choice—save the world or let it fall.
I really enjoyed this book, it was fast-paced and never felt slow or boring. But toward the end, things felt rushed, with a lot of important information thrown in all at once. I also wish it hadn’t ended on a cliffhanger, especially since it was initially supposed to be the last book in the series. Still, I loved Grim, and I’m excited for the next book to (hopefully) give us some answers, which I am hoping is Isla choosing Grim.
